Mark Taylor

Managing Director

Mark has been with Cumming and Co since its inception 18 years ago. He has many years working in the industry and leads the team promoting the values that Cumming and Co are known for. Mark’s primary task is to meet with clients to ensure that the client’s expectations are met in many ways and that their experience with Cumming and Co is a great one.

Nicola Forsyth

Director

Nicola is a very strong and focused Architect who accepts nothing but the best in terms of commitment and drive. Nicola began her career at C&C as a part 1 student and has shown exceptional leadership skills in driving and promoting the practice. As the lead Architect in the office, Nicola has developed experience in dealing with projects large and small and has many repeat clients in her portfolio of work.

Maxine Smith

Office manager

Maxine runs the office efficiently while with a degree of “fun”. She has been with us over 10 years and takes the strain out of running the practice efficiently by providing backup and direction.

David Dalton

Architect

David is a top design Architect who has great design, conceptual and awareness skills. He has an understanding of client requirements and is passionate about how the final project will look. David is an asset to the company with a great willingness to produce good quality design.

Kevan Petrie

Architectural Technologist

Kevan is a very experienced Architectural Technologist with exceptional BIM skills and knowledge. He joined the practice to work on larger scale, complicated buildings and has fitted in incredibly well. Currently leading the full Design Team on a large scale project he has shown his quality in being able to manage such a project at a very high level.

Fiona Ashcroft

Architect

Fiona is a hugely valuable member of the team and strives to provide perfection in everything she does. Very conscientious and proud of what she produces she is developing into a good all round Architect. Fiona has proven her design ability time and time again and works well with clients and contractors alike.

Stuart McKenzie

Architect

Stuart is an experienced all round Architect. Having worked on larger scale commercial projects through to smaller scale domestic projects, Stuarts brings a further level of expertise to our Architectural team. He has recently completed the Moxy Birmingham NEC project and is now mentoring some of our younger team members as they continue their journey through the construction industry.

Brendan To

Architectural Technologist

Brendan shows great willingness to learn and has fitted into our team having had experience in a larger practice. BIM skills and technical knowledge are a strong point of Brendan’s and his willingness to learn is second to none. Currently studying for his Chartership, Brendan plans to be CIAT registered within a year.

Fiona Young

Architect and Interior Designer

Fiona is a very experienced Architect and Interior Designer and has a particular interest with interior design. She has worked on a wide range of projects with specialist knowledge on commercial kitchens and bars. Fiona is currently a Part 3 Examiner for the RIBA which is helpful to our Part 2 Architectural Assistants in preparing for their exams.

Matthew James

Architectural Technologist

Matthew is our newest member of staff and has worked in the industry since 2009. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge on all construction projects from small extensions to large commercial and industrial projects. Matthew is very proficient in Revit and plays a key role developing the companies Revit and BIM skills. Matthew likes to keep a close eye on emerging technologies and understanding real world applications/value.
